UN World Food Program Increases Aid to Gaza

The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) has stepped up the delivery of food aid to Gaza, Reuters reports, yet current shipments remain far below the scale needed to prevent widespread hunger. According to WFP sources, approximately 100 trucks of food are entering the Strip each day. Humanitarian experts stress that this is well below the estimated 600 trucks daily required to adequately supply Gaza’s population and stave off famine.
