Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited parts of Jerusalem on Jerusalem Day today (Monday), where he reiterated his commitment to Israeli control of the entire city.
In his X post on the matter, Netanyahu said that:
"We will never give up on Jerusalem – ever.
"At the government meeting in the City of David, the place where our identity was born, I say in the clearest way: our enemies called the massacre they carried out "Al-Aqsa Flood" – today they understand what the real flood is that has descended upon them.
"We will preserve Jerusalem united, whole, and Israel's sovereignty – for our past, and for our children's future. If I forget you, Jerusalem – let my right hand forget.
"Happy Jerusalem Day."
