EU Commission President: Middle East Reports Are Deeply Alarming

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the reports coming from the Middle East are “deeply alarming.” She urged all parties to exercise maximum restraint, de-escalate immediately, and refrain from retaliation. “A diplomatic solution is more urgent now than ever — for the sake of regional stability and global security,” she added.
