Mano Maritime to evacuate 10,000 Israelis from Cyprus for €650 per ticket

Mano Maritime will operate two evacuation sailings of the Golden Iris to bring home up to 10,000 Israelis stranded in Cyprus. The move comes after a public spat with Transportation Minister Miri Regev, who initially accused the company of refusing to cooperate. Tickets for the evacuation are expected to cost up to €650, pending final approval from the Home Front Command. Following the dispute, Minister Regev and company chairman Moshe Mano held a reconciliatory call in which he clarified Mano Maritime had been working to assist from the outset. The operation is expected to receive official clearance within hours.
