Shrapnel Falls Over Safed After Interceptions, No Injuries Reported

Iran launched approximately a dozen ballistic missiles targeting Haifa, one of Israel’s key northern port cities. Israeli air defense systems, including Iron Dome and David’s Sling, intercepted the majority of the incoming projectiles before they could cause direct damage. Despite successful interceptions, shrapnel from the explosions rained down over Safed, a nearby city in northeastern Israel. Residents were startled, though no injuries have been reported.
