Rubio: Iran Now a Nuclear Threshold State

Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a stark warning about Iran’s nuclear capabilities, stating in an interview with Fox News that the Islamic Republic has effectively become a nuclear threshold state. “Once you reach 60%, you’re on the path to 90%,” Rubio said, referring to uranium enrichment levels. “Essentially, you’re a nuclear threshold state — and that’s what Iran has become.” Rubio emphasized the urgency of the situation, noting that if Iran chooses to build a nuclear weapon, “they could do so very quickly.”
