PM’s Office: Israel Struck Tehran Hours Before Ceasefire Took Effect
The Prime Minister’s Office released a detailed statement on the final hours before the ceasefire with Iran. According to the statement, at 3:00 AM — just four hours before the ceasefire’s scheduled start at 7:00 AM — the Israeli Air Force launched a powerful strike deep inside Tehran, targeting regime infrastructure and eliminating hundreds of Basij and Iranian security personnel. Shortly before the ceasefire began, Iran fired a missile barrage, killing four civilians in Be’er Sheva. Despite the ceasefire coming into effect at 7:00 AM, Iran violated it twice — launching one missile at 7:06 and two more at 10:25. All were either intercepted or fell in open areas without casualties. In response, the Israeli Air Force destroyed a radar system near Tehran. Following a conversation between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israel refrained from further attacks. The statement notes that Trump expressed strong appreciation for Israel’s achievements and voiced confidence in the stability of the ceasefire.
