In a triumphant message Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed credit for both the destruction of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and the subsequent ceasefire that ended the 12-day war between Tehran and Jerusalem. “Both Israel and Iran equally wanted to stop the war,” Trump wrote. “It was a great honor for me to destroy all the nuclear facilities and capabilities, and then… stop the war!”
