Yariv Oppenheimer sharply criticized U.S. President Donald Trump’s public demand to cancel Prime Minister Netanyahu’s trial, questioning, “What did he get in return from Netanyahu?” Speaking on The News (Knesset Channel), Oppenheimer alleged that Trump’s now-viral “Bugs Bunny” line was no coincidence: “Whoever wrote ‘Bugs Bunny’ knew exactly what they were doing. He got that text from Netanyahu’s people, I don’t know if from his family or from Dermer.”
