Defense Minister Katz: “We Wanted to Eliminate Khamenei—But Had No Operational Opportunity”

In a special interview with Moriah Asraf and Or Heller, Defense Minister Israel Katz revealed that Israel had considered assassinating Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei but was unable to act due to a lack of operational opportunity. “We wanted to eliminate Khamenei,” Katz said, “but the right moment never came.”
