Hamas Mourns Key Iranian Figure Behind October 7 Attacks

Hamas has issued an official statement mourning the death of Sa’id Izadi, the senior Quds Force commander responsible for the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ Palestinian portfolio, who was eliminated during the ongoing war in Iran. Izadi, one of the chief architects of Hamas’s October 7 massacre, played a central role in funding and arming the group in recent years. In a statement, Hamas said: “Izadi was a pillar of the Palestinian resistance movements, working day and night to support the Palestinian cause. Our condolences go out to the dear Iranian people.” Izadi’s elimination is being regarded by Israeli analysts as one of the most significant targeted killings of Operation "Am K’Lavi," highlighting his pivotal role in advancing the Iran-Hamas-Islamic Jihad axis in Gaza.
