Unions Warn: Thousands of Workers Left Out of War Compensation Plan
According to Yedioth Ahronoth, tens of thousands of salaried employees have been severely impacted by the compensation framework set for the 12-day war, which requires a minimum of 12 days of unpaid leave to qualify for benefits. Labor unions are calling to lower the threshold to 9 days, warning that some workers could lose up to 40% of their monthly income.
