After Iran War, Focus Shifts to Top IDF Appointments

Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir are set to meet this Thursday to discuss a series of senior appointments in the IDF General Staff. Among the key positions and candidates expected to be addressed in the upcoming round of appointments: Commander of the Northern Command, Commander of the Navy, Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), Head of the Planning Directorate, and Head of the Technology and Logistics Directorate. Additional roles that may become available include IDF Attaché to Washington and Commander of the Home Front Command.
