Hamas Leans Toward Qatari Deal, Final Call Within 48 Hours

Palestinian sources familiar with the details informed the Turkish news agency Anadolu that Hamas is inclined to agree to the Qatari proposal but has not yet made a final decision, continuing to consult with various Palestinian organizations before providing an official response to the mediators. The sources noted that this time, the U.S., Egypt, and Qatar have provided "extensive guarantees" that the agreement will be implemented, and suggested that Turkey might also be included among the guarantor states. The nature of these guarantees was not specified.The sources further added that "discussions are still ongoing regarding several technical details," including the means for delivering humanitarian aid, the maps defining IDF troop withdrawals, and arrangements for the phase following the initial 60-day period—should that timeframe prove insufficient for reaching a full and final agreement—as well as other additional details. The sources indicated that Hamas is expected to deliver its response within the next two days at the latest.
