Hezbollah Deputy Chief Rejects Disarmament Pressure

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem dismissed recent disarmament demands, stating that threats will not force the group to surrender or lay down its arms. “We are surprised by the request from the Lebanese state to hand over our missiles,” Qassem said. “These are part of the organization’s defensive capabilities.”
