Hamas Demands IDF Withdrawal, U.S. War-End Guarante

Al Araby Al Jadeed summarized the ceasefire talks into four points: 1. Humanitarian Aid – Hamas insists on removing the aid from GHF. An agreement was reached to bring aid into Gaza via the United Nations. 2. IDF Troop Deployment – The central issue in the discussions now is the withdrawal of IDF forces during the 60-day ceasefire period and the related maps. 3. Names of Hostages and Prisoners to Be Released – The third dispute concerns the identities of the ten Israeli hostages Hamas is to release under the agreement. Israel is demanding the names, while Hamas refuses to disclose them before an agreement is reached on the IDF withdrawal map – and in exchange for receiving the names of the Palestinian prisoners Israel will be required to release. 4. Commitment to Ending the War – The most contentious point delaying the agreement relates to guarantees Hamas is demanding from the United States that the war will not resume after the 60-day ceasefire. According to the source, “Trump will act seriously to prevent the war from restarting after the ceasefire period ends,” but no official announcement has been made on this matter.
