Hamas Claims Hostage Deal Rejected
In a formal statement, Hamas claimed it recently offered Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a comprehensive deal to release all Israeli hostages in exchange for a permanent ceasefire, full IDF withdrawal from Gaza, and unrestricted humanitarian aid. According to Hamas, Netanyahu “deliberately refused,” aiming to derail efforts toward peace and prolong military aggression. The group accused the Israeli government of placing political obstacles over national interests, while reaffirming its commitment to a negotiated resolution.
