IDF Confirms Rocket Launch from Syria Fell Short of Israeli Border

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed reports of a rocket launch from Syrian territory during the night between Wednesday and Thursday. According to the military, the projectile fell more than six kilometers away from the Israeli border, landing inside Syrian territory. In accordance with Israel’s alert policy—which is based on threat assessments and projected impact zones—no warning sirens were activated. There were no injuries or damage reported on the Israeli side.
