Iran Grounds Night Flights Amid Fears of Israeli Attack

Behrouz Mohabbati, a senior official in Iran's Civil Aviation Authority, confirmed Saturday that the country has imposed a ban on night flights due to the threat of potential Israeli airstrikes. “The restriction stems from the risk of hostile offensive action,” said Mohabbati. “We remain in a state of war with the Zionist regime, as no official or written ceasefire has been secured. Therefore, a breach could occur at any moment.” The announcement comes amid heightened regional tensions following a string of Israeli strikes inside Iran and growing fears of retaliation.
