Israeli Restaurant in Athens Attacked by Pro-Palestinian Activists

King David Burger, an Israeli-owned restaurant in the Greek capital, was attacked last night. A group of pro-Palestinian activists arrived at the restaurant, reportedly shouting anti-Israel slogans, according to eyewitnesses, while throwing flyers inside the establishment and at employees, and spray-painting graffiti such as "No Zionist is safe here" across the premises.The police arrived only after about 15 minutes. Representatives from the hate crimes unit arrived an hour and a half later and told the restaurant manager, "If we can identify faces from the footage, we’ll arrest them; if not, there’s nothing we can do." The restaurant is located in a central, tourist hub in the city.
