Hezbollah Regroups as IDF Pressure Mounts
Despite enduring its most severe leadership losses to date, Hezbollah is working to rebuild its ranks and capabilities. According to defense analyst Amir Bohbot, Israel’s campaign has decimated the Shiite militia’s senior command structure—eliminating top division commanders and nearly half of its brigade-level officers. Intelligence estimates suggest 70–90% of Hezbollah’s military infrastructure has been degraded. Compounding the blow is the Assad regime’s instability in Syria, which has disrupted Hezbollah’s weapons supply lines, logistics networks, and manufacturing capacity. Still, the group’s elite Radwan Unit is reportedly spearheading efforts to restore operational capability—even as Israel maintains relentless pressure to prevent its resurgence.
