No Imminent Iranian Attack Detected, Despite Online Rumors
Contrary to circulating rumors on social media, Israel’s defense establishment does not currently anticipate an imminent Iranian attack and sees no signs of a comparable military buildup on the ground. According to current assessments, Iran has only around 200 operational launchers remaining following the recent conflict — capable of firing approximately 200 missiles before their locations are exposed and destroyed. Reports claiming that Iran has closed its airspace have also been denied. Iranian policy remains unchanged: while airports in the country’s eastern regions remain operational for both domestic and international flights, airports in central and western Iran are still not functioning, though not due to a formal closure.
