Hostage deal talks enter critical stage

Senior Hamas officials are expected to hold internal meetings today to discuss Israel’s latest updated proposal for a hostage release deal, according to Kan News correspondent Amichai Stein. The discussions will reportedly focus on the terms of Israel’s revised offer, including possible modifications to the number and categories of Palestinian prisoners to be released in exchange for Israeli hostages held in Gaza.
