Lone Soldier from Norway Succumbs to His Wounds

Private Dan Mendel Philipson, a soldier in training with the IDF Paratroopers Brigade, has died of his wounds. The Israel Defense Forces have not released further details about the incident, which remains under investigation. Philipson’s funeral is scheduled for Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Mount Herzl Military Cemetery in Jerusalem.
