Report—Iraq Warned of Impending Israeli Strikes on Iranian Militias

Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reports that Iraq’s government has recently received messages from several countries warning that Israel is expected to soon strike targets belonging to Iranian-backed militias in Iraq. In response, Baghdad has redeployed its army forces away from cities where these militias are based, apparently to reduce potential casualties among its troops.
