Egypt Clarifies Sinai Governor’s Threat Was Response to Knesset Remarks

Following the North Sinai governor’s warning that Egypt is prepared for “tensions with Israel,” Egypt’s head of media operations said the comments were a reaction to statements in the Knesset labeling Egypt as “the most antisemitic country in the Middle East.”
