UPDATE: Singapore to Join Gaza Humanitarian Airdrops

Singapore deployed a Hercules transport aircraft to Jordan yesterday to participate in humanitarian airdrops over Gaza. An Israeli security source told Kan News that Israel will allow Singapore—the first Asian nation to take part—to join the operation alongside other countries, as it did last year. According to Singapore’s government, the aircraft carries medical supplies and food donated by NGOs. So far, 10 countries have taken part in Gaza airdrops: Jordan, Egypt, the UAE, Germany, Spain, Belgium, France, Italy, Greece, and the Netherlands—with Singapore expected to join them starting tomorrow.
