Turkish Ports Begin Requiring Israeli-Free Declarations

According to Reuters, Turkey’s Ports Authority has started demanding official declarations and permits from ships docking at its ports, requiring them to certify that they have no connections to Israel and are not transporting weapons or hazardous materials destined for the country. The move reflects President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s ongoing anti-Israel stance and adds new logistical hurdles for maritime operations involving Israeli trade.
