Police retract unusual restrictions on Haifa Pride Parade

The Israel Police have rolled back controversial limitations on the upcoming Haifa Pride Parade. Senior officials told ynet that bans on holding counter-protests and setting up political booths were imposed solely at the initiative of a junior community policing officer, without proper authority. Police clarified that these unauthorized directives have been canceled and that only the official permit conditions for the parade and accompanying demonstrations remain in force.
