Motorcyclist killed in Route 1 crash; heavy traffic near Latrun

A motorcyclist has been pronounced dead after colliding with a safety barrier on Route 1 near the Latrun interchange, heading toward Tel Aviv. Despite extensive resuscitation efforts by United Hatzalah medics and evacuation to the hospital in critical condition, doctors were forced to declare his death.
