IDF raids money exchange in Ramallah
IDF troops from the Binyamin Brigade, together with Duvdevan unit forces, Border Police officers, Central Command intelligence, and the Shin Bet, carried out a daylight raid Tuesday in central Ramallah. The forces targeted a money exchange business suspected of funneling terror funds to Hamas operatives for attacks against Israel. During the operation, five wanted suspects were arrested on terrorism-related charges, and hundreds of thousands of shekels identified as terror funds were confiscated. According to the IDF, the raid is part of a broader campaign in Judea and Samaria aimed at crippling the financial infrastructure of terrorist organizations and disrupting their ability to fund and execute attacks against Israeli citizens.
