Senior IDF Intelligence Officer Publishes Book on Nasrallah
In a move described as unprecedented, a senior officer in Israeli Military Intelligence (AMAN), Brigadier General Sh., currently commanding Unit 9900, is publishing a comprehensive book on Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah while still serving in a senior position and amid ongoing conflict. The nearly 500-page book was partially written before the war and partially after Nasrallah’s elimination, offering an in-depth analysis of the Hezbollah chief. The publication has received full approval from the officer’s superiors, and the Brigadier General is not profiting financially from the release. Defense sources noted that similar exceptions have occurred in the past, including with former IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi and former Unit 8200 commander Yossi Shariel, who published works while in service.
