UAE Condemns Netanyahu’s Remarks on Qatar

The United Arab Emirates issued a sharp condemnation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent statements against Qatar, calling them “provocative and aggressive.” “The security and stability of sister state Qatar are an inseparable part of the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC),” the UAE Foreign Ministry declared. “Any attack on a Gulf state is considered an attack on the Gulf’s collective security system.” The statement further rejected Israel’s threats of future action against Qatar, warning that “this continued provocative and aggressive approach undermines the chances of achieving stability and pushes the region onto extremely dangerous paths.”
