U.S. to Qatar: Israel Still Seeks Deal Despite Offensive

Despite Israel’s ground maneuver in Gaza, Washington has conveyed to Qatar that Jerusalem still seeks an agreement with Hamas. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during meetings in Doha, thanked Qatar for continuing its mediation efforts even after the Israeli strike there.
