Attempted Child Abduction Reported in Modi’in Illit

Authorities are investigating a suspected attempted abduction of a child in Modi’in Illit, according to an initial report by journalist Elia Aviv. Police said they received a call after a boy arrived home visibly distressed, claiming someone tried to kidnap him. The child reported that he had been forced into a vehicle but managed to escape through a window. The suspect vehicle was described as a white pickup truck with tools loaded in the back, possibly a work vehicle. Security forces launched searches after the truck, which fled the city.
