Iran Imposes Near-Total Internet Blackout

Iran's regime has imposed a near-total internet blackout nationwide, with connectivity plummeting to approximately 4% of ordinary levels, as monitored by independent organizations like NetBlocks. The shutdown began around 07:00 UTC, coinciding with the onset of joint US-Israeli airstrikes under "Operation Epic Fury" and "Roaring Lion," targeting Iranian military, nuclear, and leadership sites. This measure, described as a deliberate blackout by the regime, has severed mobile networks, SMS services, and landline communications in major regions including Tehran, Fars, Isfahan, Alborz, and Razavi Khorasan.
