Two Givati Brigade Soldiers Wounded in Southern Lebanon
The event took place on Friday while the unit was engaged in a forward defensive mission. A Hezbollah terrorist cell launched several anti-tank (ATGM) missiles toward the force. Two soldiers sustained moderate injuries. Within minutes of the launch, IDF forces identified the terrorist cell responsible and carried out a retaliatory strike, neutralizing the threat. The wounded soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for treatment, and their families have been notified. In response to the missile fire and the proximity of the engagement to the border, authorities declared a "Knight of the Night B" (Abir Layla Bet) alert for Israeli communities adjacent to the security fence.
