Hegseth says U.S. winning decisively in Iran campaign, no fixed timetable for end

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth defended the military campaign in Iran, stating the U.S. is "winning decisively, and on our terms." Hegseth said American forces are hunting Iranian missiles, drones, proxies, and buried facilities "methodically, ruthlessly, and overwhelmingly—like no other army in the world can." He criticized media coverage for attempting to "downplay the progress, amplify every cost, and turn every step into a question mark." Hegseth said there is no fixed timetable for ending operations, adding "it will be the President's decision when we say, 'We have achieved what we need.'"
