Protests held in southern Syria and Idlib against Israel, supporting Palestinians

Protests were held tonight in Sunni villages across southern Syria and Idlib, with demonstrators chanting anti-Israel slogans and waving Palestinian flags. Protesters chanted "Jews, remember what Mohammad of Khaybar did to you, the army of Mohammad will return again." The demonstrations reached Quneitra, near the Israeli border. According to Palestinian channels, the protests were triggered by the continued closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque and a death penalty law approved by the Knesset.
