2 IDF soldiers injured in close combat clash with Hezbollah

IDF soldiers from the 162nd Division eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist in a face-to-face encounter during a ground operation in southern Lebanon on Thursday. Two IDF soldiers were lightly injured in the engagement and evacuated for medical treatment; their families have been notified. Troops subsequently scanned the area and seized numerous weapons including rifles, vests, grenades, and additional arms. The operation was conducted as part of efforts to enhance Israel's forward defensive posture.
