Israeli citizen arrested for allegedly spying for hostile entity via Al Jazeera contact

Shin Bet and Central District Police arrested Miqdad Mudir Husni Nator, an Israeli citizen from Kalansuwa, on suspicion of contact with foreign intelligence and carrying out tasks for a hostile entity. The investigation revealed that Nator approached Al Jazeera seeking employment and was referred to an individual representing a hostile entity. He was tasked with operating a news page to amplify enemy messaging and received payments for his work. After the war began, he was asked to collect sensitive information including missile impact sites, casualty numbers, and public sentiment data. An indictment has been filed at Lod District Court.
