Netanyahu accepts Ziv Agmon's apology, asks him to stay on

Prime Minister Netanyahu has accepted an apology from Ziv Agmon for statements that "should not have been made." Netanyahu said he has never encountered racism from Agmon and asked him to continue in his position until a suitable replacement is found. "A strong people is one that knows how to stand by its principles, yet also open its heart, forgive, and move on," Netanyahu stated, invoking Passover themes. He called for putting the matter behind and moving forward for Israel's security and national unity.
