IDF strikes petrochemical facility and missile site in Iran

The Israeli Air Force struck a petrochemical facility in Shiraz and a ballistic missile array site in northwestern Iran on Monday, the IDF announced. The Shiraz facility produced nitric acid, a critical component for explosives and ballistic missile production, and was one of Iran's last remaining sites producing such materials. The strike follows previous IDF attacks on Iran's largest petrochemical facility and a compound in Mahshahr. Simultaneously, the IDF targeted a missile array site from which operatives had launched dozens of missiles toward Israel. The site was struck while missile array operatives and commanders were present and operating to advance terror activities against Israel and other countries.
