Shas chairman Deri criticizes former leaders for opposing war effort

Shas chairman Aryeh Deri condemned former prime ministers, defense ministers, and military chiefs for acting against the state to gain political advantage. Deri stated it is clear to any reasonable person that this is a necessary war that has achieved significant successes with American allies. He accused those creating a false impression of defeat of prioritizing politics over patriotism, adding that the Israeli public is wiser than its opposition.
