Iran-US talks in Pakistan end without agreement, delegations depart
Negotiations between Iran and the United States held in Pakistan concluded last night without reaching an agreement, with both delegations leaving the country. US Vice President J.D. Vance stated in a brief press conference that while substantive discussions took place, no deal was reached. "This is worse news for Iran than for the US," Vance said, adding that the US made its red lines clear but Iran chose not to accept the terms. He noted the US did not see a commitment from Iran to refrain from developing nuclear weapons, and said the latest American offer remains on the table.
