IDF eliminates Hamas terrorist involved in building collapse that killed 21 soldiers

The IDF and Shin Bet struck an armed Hamas terrorist cell in central Gaza Strip that was planning imminent attacks against Israeli forces. Among those eliminated was Yosef Ibrahim Mahmoud Bashiti, a Hamas operative who participated in launching anti-tank missiles at buildings housing IDF troops and at a tank crew, resulting in a building collapse that killed 21 IDF soldiers. The terrorists were struck Monday as they approached the yellow line and posed a direct threat to operating forces.
