Iran threatens to block Gulf shipping in response to U.S. naval blockade

Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya military headquarters warned that Iran will block all exports and imports in the Gulf region, Sea of Oman, and Red Sea in response to the U.S. naval blockade. The statement said Iran "will act resolutely and forcefully to defend its national interests and sovereignty" and described the U.S. blockade as "a prelude to the violation of the ceasefire" by "terrorist America."
