IDF Chief of Staff visits Lebanon, says over 1,700 Hezbollah terrorists eliminated
IDF Chief of the General Staff LTG Eyal Zamir visited the 162nd Division in southern Lebanon, stating that over 1,700 Hezbollah terrorists have been eliminated since the operation began. "We are advancing, striking Hezbollah, and they are withdrawing. Hezbollah is weakened and isolated in Lebanon," Zamir said. He announced that operations continue in Bint Jbeil by the 98th Division and in the Beit Leaf area by the 162nd Division, with three additional divisions stabilizing forward defense areas. Zamir instructed that the entire area of southern Lebanon up to the Litani River become a no-go zone for Hezbollah operatives. He also stated that Air Force aircraft remain armed and prepared for immediate strikes, with high readiness maintained regarding Iran.
