Khamenei's son Mojtaba in hiding, recovering from severe injuries

Mojtaba Khamenei, son of Iran's Supreme Leader, is hiding from threats by the United States and Israel and is surrounded primarily by a medical team, according to the New York Times. He has undergone three surgeries on one leg and awaits a prosthetic leg. He also had hand surgery, and severe burns to his face and lips make it difficult for him to speak. Plastic surgeries are planned. Among those treating him is President Pezeshkian, a heart surgeon by training.
