Two IDF Air Force soldiers indicted for espionage on behalf of Iran

The military prosecution has filed an indictment against two IDF soldiers serving as Air Force technicians, charging them with committing security offenses on behalf of Iranian intelligence agents. The indictment comes about a month after their arrest. During interrogation, the soldiers claimed they severed contact with their Iranian handlers after refusing missions involving weapons, but continued attempting to renew the connection for financial gain. One soldier transferred materials from military training on fighter jet systems to an Iranian foreign agent, along with documentation of facilities and areas within a military base.
